Who we are
FairRange publishes independent EV buying guides for US readers at fairrangeev.com. This policy explains what information we handle when you visit the site or email us.
What we collect
- Hosting and security logs. The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like most websites, request logs may include IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand aggregate traffic (for example page views and approximate geography). Google may process device and usage data under its own policies. We use this to improve editorial and site reliability — not to sell personal information.
- Email you send us. If you write to [email protected], we receive the address and content you include so we can respond (for example corrections or press questions).
- Fonts. Pages may load web fonts from Google Fonts. Google may process technical connection data under its own policies.
- Advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads. See the Advertising section below.
Advertising
FairRange is supported by display advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads never change our verdicts, and advertisers do not review or approve our guides.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to fairrangeev.com or other websites.

FairRange is written for US readers. If we serve personalized ads to visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, or Switzerland, we will do so only through a Google-certified consent management platform that asks for your consent first.
What we do not do
- We do not require accounts, newsletters, or payment forms.
- We do not sell personal information for money.
- We do not accept paid placements or sponsored verdicts.
Cookies
Google Analytics may set or read cookies or similar storage to measure site usage. Google AdSense and its partners may set advertising cookies as described above. Cloudflare or your browser may also use technical cookies required for security or network delivery. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
Your US state privacy rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, or other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to know what personal information is processed about you, to request deletion, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the “sharing” of personal information for that purpose.

How long we keep email
Correction and support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and maintain an accurate editorial record, then deleted or archived in the ordinary course of inbox management.
Children
The site is intended for a general adult audience researching vehicle purchases. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
If we add trackers, change ad partners, or make other material changes to our data practices, we will update this page and its “Last updated” date before or when those changes go live.
